*Fillers

Fillers are for filling the lines and wrinkles that Botox does not address. The most common use is below the eyes, though, they fill out the lines of the forehead and between the brows that may be residual after Botox. Commonly, they are used for the smile lines that run from the upper nose to the corners of the mouth. They can also fill out the fine lines around the lips and the deeper ones that run from the corner of the mouth downward. Filling lips for a fuller, plumper look is also high on the list of uses. There several types of filler on the market. The two most popular are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and Collagen. Most people know HA by the trade names of Restalyne and Juvederm. I choose to use the Juvederm due to its superior smoothness and longevity. Restalyne is more prone to get lumpy, and it does not last as long. Collagen has mostly been replaced by HA, but it still has a place. The newer collagens need no pretesting. Come see me for a free consultation to see which products would enhance your looks the most.
