*Anti-Aging Program

The anti-aging program that we provide tries to maintain a balance between price and quality.  We are aware that insurance companies do not pay for this branch of medicine, and that the costs can be, what I think are, relatively high.  When possible, I try to use less expensive alternatives, especially when there will be no sacrifice in quality.  Occasionally, when a less expensive substitute is used you will be informed of its relative value, and what, if any, advantages or disadvantages are incurred.  Sometimes, we can save you a good deal of money without any sacrifice to your wanted results.

We begin by listening to what your needs and goals in anti-aging are.  I will share information regarding the realistic expectations that can be achieved in your quest for restoring and preserving a youthful body and mind.  Much of the reason that I created this website is so that prospective anti-aging patients could do some ground work in this regard before having to even see me.  Take the time to browse through it, write down questions, and become an informed patient.  I have known for years that informed patients are not just easier to treat, but that we get better results as well.  The initial call is $75.00 for 1/2 hour.  Compare that to clinics doing the same thing in Bellevue and around Seattle for an initial $500.00 evaluation as well as a $2000.00 per year retainer to monitor you.  This doesn't include the cost of any hormones or other products that they will provide you in their program.

The next step is usually a physical exam and diagnostic testing.  This is performed at a follow up visit.  If recent medical data (lab tests, EKG's, Chest X-rays, etc.) are available from other health care providers we will not repeat them unnecessarily.  It will probably be necessary to obtain laboratory tests pertinent to anti-aging since many of these tests are not part of the usual screening tests done at routine check-ups.  The physical will run $150.00 plus any tests that need to be done.  We will put together a cost effective package of tests that will fit your goals. This could run anywhere from $100.00 to about $450.00 depending on your wants (this is an estimate - I make no money off the the amount of testing done).  There may be further testing depending upon the results that we get.  Fortunately, this should cover the vast majority of your start up fees.  From there on out the visits and lab testing tends to be more routine and lower priced.

Following the exam and testing we will have a visit to discuss how the program will be custom fit for your medical profile and goals.  We will prescribe any needed hormone(s) other than Growth Hormone products which we dispense ourselves.   You will be advised as to what other factors (e.g. supplements, nutrition, exercise) could enhance your outcome.  The cost of Growth Hormone is currently prohibitive to many people, but there is good news.  I have come across a product (TransD-Tropin) which is a fraction of the cost of Growth Hormone (though still not cheap @ about $185.00 for a 4-6 week supply).  Growth Hormone, if you have the resources, can run $600.00 - $1000.00 per month.  Obviously, most people opt for the TransD-Tropin.  TransD-Tropin has been clinically and laboratory tested as a safe and effective substitute for Growth Hormone injections.  It is not an injectable.  It is a hormone analog that can be rubbed on the skin instead.  It is available only through prescription.  Click on this link for a look at how to use, and what to expect from TransD-Tropin.

You will be monitored there on out on an individual basis.  Rather than having a high yearly maintenance fee we charge simply for time and material.  The longer you're on the program the less monitoring and testing you will need.
